About Us
Debbie Butler is English and grew up in London. She spent her early career in Marketing, before making a big change, when her love of horses led to a move into teaching Carriage Driving. She then moved to South Africa where she lived for 20 years.
As with a lot of people, COVID brought about some big decisions. For Debbie, one of them was a move to Spain to be nearer her sister who was already living there. This also meant she could be closer to her family in the UK.
In 2021 she bought her house in Coín, which already included a large self-contained 2 bed/2 bath apartment. In March 2024 she decided to advertise it on Booking.com. A year on and she now has this web site, while the apartment is also advertised on Airbnb, so she hopes to be busier than ever.
It has proved to be very successful with guests who so far have come from Spain, Holland, UK, Germany, Russia, Poland, Belgium & Italy, She reckons she has had around 40 bookings in that first year and welcomed at least 100 guests.
For some time now, she has averaged a positive customer satisfaction rating of nearly 9 out of 10 – a very high figure for a small accommodation rental business.
