Debbie Butler spent her earlier career mainly in X. (Did you ever work in catering or rental related work?)  Around (year) she decided to try her hand at a small apartment rental business by dividing part of her own house.

She opened for business in (Year) which has been running ever since. She reckons she has had around xx separate groups of clients [rough figures – just take an average number of weeks x years x by, say average of two people per booking].

For some time now, she has averaged a positive customer satisfaction rating of nearly 9 out of 10 – a very high figure for a small accommodation rental business.

She attributes this rating mainly to three things:

1. Outwardly she is genuinely interested in people and is a warm, outgoing and helpful person. Many clients report how she has gone out of her way to make their stay as comfortable and relaxing as possible.

2. However, behind the scenes, she is also an absolute stickler for standards – both for herself and the small team of cleaners and others who work in the background. For example, many clients say the apartment was absolutely spotless when they arrived.

3. She has tried to make the apartment look as much like home as possible with attractive, high quality furnishings and tasteful pictures. She has also thoughtfully provided many personal needs that people might have forgotten like toothbrushes, razors, gels and shower products.
