Automobile Museum Malaga – Museo Automovilistico de Malaga
The museum is housed in one of Malaga´s most architecturally stunning buildings – the old tobacco factory (Fabrica de Tabacos). Constructed in 1927, it has been carefully transformed to house a collection of more than 80 vintage and modern cars, alongside fashionable travel memorabilia from the 20s-50s.
Picasso was born in Malaga, not far from where the museum is located. The museum’s collection consists of 44 paintings, 49 drawings, 40 graphic works and sculptures. Truly spectaculer if you are a Pocasso fan. See link for more info.
Antequera Dolmens Site – UNESCO World Heritage Centre
Dolmens are massive ancient stone tombs. The Antequera ones were built well before the egyption pyramids. They are absoluteltry huge. One of of the main stones weighs 180 tons. (The biggest stone at Stonehenge is only 40 tons.) Well worth a visit.
